In this summer research program my team and I did research in AI fairness sponsored by Meta. Specifically, we evaluated and generalized word embeddings fairness metrics, we also proposed two methods for mitigating bias in embeddings and a new measure of fairness in embeddings.
In the end, we presented the project at Meta’s headquarters to its Responsible AI research group and we also presented it at the 2023 Joint Mathematics Meetings as a poster and a talk.
